Our Integral Approach provides integral/comprehensive service; this means we care for you by the light of the primary approach to a disease, to be exact, the prevention of a chronic disease outbreak; the secondary approach, attention to the initial occurrences; and the third approach, which means the prevention of recurrent episodes or relapses.
When we refer to the Integral Approach we also include in it the integrality in interdisciplinary service, because we serve you from the perspective of a worldview of anthropology, sociology, psychiatry, medicine, psychology and spirituality. This leads us towards a much broader understanding and a substantially better comprehension of the nature of the being and its afflictions; undoubtedly, this allows us to design a fully specific treatment (the Integral Approach personalizes symptoms, as opposed to generalizing them) so as to have a treatment plan which produces entirely satisfactory outcomes.
Even though not totally part of a health system, the Integral Approach is based on the essence of constructive medicine, which seeks to potentialize the being’s qualities to the maximum. In addition, we include a thorough analysis of the different development areas such as: the biological area, taken care of by medicine; the cognitive area, taken care of by psychology; and the emotional area, where we have a number of spiritual-type tools. The individual is helped by means of mixed techniques for equilibrium of areas such as the socio-affective to release their loads and give new meaning to this area. Clearly we reinsert the person to either academic or employment life, having previously potentialized their personal level.
With the Integral Approach, an original of Future Function Rehabilitation and Detox Center, we have demonstrated how we can lead our patients of mental and emotional diseases as well as of addictive and eating disorders towards living completely functional, purposeful lives. We help people to confer new meaning to their sexual, academic and spiritual areas; the Integral Approach is truly a powerful tool.
Experience has made it undeniable that the Integral Approach is the most potent tool for treating these types of illnesses and disorders, far exceeding the 12-step methods and separate psychological schools such as logotherapy. Our vision takes resources from many psychological schools, namely: the psychodynamic approach (for adjusting the self); the cognitive behavioral approach (in it we lead the person to structure changes in their thoughts and their system of beliefs), and the production of self-realization/self-fulfillment from the perspective of Abraham Maslow —considered as one of the greatest psychologists of the twentieth century by the North American Magazine of Psychology — as we support our patients in achieving self-realization through life plan adjustments, which is in fact beneficial for the final results.
